I. Goal

a. Instructions:

i. In this first topic, you will become familiar with the basic facts of Malaria, including its impact on the world’s most poor. Please make sure to read the articles (and do some of your own research!) and watch the videos before completing the final activity

IV. Assignments – Include language that these assignments will be building off of one another and hopefully by the end of the course, you will have created pieces for your personalized tool kit.

a. Interview 15-20 individuals in your community, posing the question: "What Is Malaria?", as in the video included in this lesson. Record the answers (with permission) and report your findings in a "creative" way -- video, powerpoint, etc.
b. Create a one page fact sheet based on the readings and videos this week.
